Mission aid

Picture
Every baptized person is a missionary, so all the baptized have the privilege of preaching the Gospel in their lives by praying for and working with missionaries.

Missionaries especially need our prayer. We can request a Holy Mass in their intention,  pray the Rosary, the Way of the Cross, etc. Also, we can adopt a child in a spiritual and material way, helping them each month with school expenses. In our parish we have a variety of projects: construction of a new mission, purchase of bikes for catechists, solar energy system enlargement, common room facilities for youth, home repairs and other missions. When you choose a project, you can send me an e-mail to get started. In the course of a project it is possible to  visit our mission and become directly involved. Always in every project local people are also involved, whether through material contribution or physical work. Only together can we build the Church of Christ.

Prayer for Africa - Zambia (translated from Polish)

Infinitely Good Father
be blessed for your harvest,
which grows throughout the world,
especially on the African soil.

We ask you,
make sure your Church in Africa
perseveres in adversity

and through hardships,
and joyfully serves
the poorest and most abandoned.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God,
 for ever and ever. AMEN
